How to gain a day without trying!

This sounds almost as enticing as the secret of eternal
youth doesn't it
...

My husband and I flew to Rarotonga (Cook Islands) for the
Easter weekend
for a family wedding. We left Sydney on Thursday morning
and arrived in
Rarotonga on Wednesday night! So last week I got to have
Thursday twice -
I could get used to gaining a day each week without trying
:)

Inspiration - Blind Passion!

I was inspired today by the story of "Sabrina" ... I have
been searching
the internet today for Sabrina's surname so I could give
her full credit.
I have been unable to find it so if you happen to know it
or have better
"google" skills than me let me know.

Sabrina is blind.

Sabrina is a motivated and passionate woman who decided she
could use her
blindness to achieve amazing things rather than be limited
by it. She
decided to travel to Tibet and set up a school to teach
blind children
Braille.

In Tibet the blind are thought to be possessed by the devil
and are hidden
away from their community - some are even tied to their
beds day and night.
Sabrina overcame the superstitions and cultural differences
to set up her
school for the blind. She has taught children to read
Braille in three
different languages allowing them - what an amazing gift!

Sabrina was frustrated by all the people who would tell her
the reasons
she couldn't succeed in setting up the school - she chose
to focus on the
one reason she could succeed ... because she wanted to.

"The great thing about being blind is that you can't see
the obstacles."
Sabrina

Have an inspiring week!
