Memory Lane #2

November 29, 2005

Our move went well over the weekend, the house is full of
boxes, the plumber is connecting the kitchen sink as I type
and it is wonderful to be in our new home.
I have successfully managed to connect the internet today
which allows me to treat you to another trip down Memory
Lane ....
I am off to unpack another box - have an inspiring week!

Trip Down Memory Lane #2
(26th July 2004)

SELF DOUBT .... 'am I good enough?', 'will I ever make
it?', 'what if I make a mistake?'

We have all experienced it at some point in varying
degrees. Having these thoughts is not bad or wrong, having
these thoughts does not make you weak or destined for
failure .... trust me - EVERYONE experiences self doubt.

So why do some people seem to endlessly undermine
themselves with doubt? Why do they seem to sabotage their
potential before they even begin? Consider that it may be
choice in perspective ......

Another coach sent me part of an article she had cut out in
hope that it would inspire me ... it did! So now I share
this with you - next time you hear those voices of self
doubt remember you have a choice in how you respond to
them.

The author wrote - I asked (Will) Smith if he finally had
overcome his self-doubt and fear of failure. " I've learned
to use it", he replied, "to flip that negative energy
around and make it a challenge. I keep going because I
doubt myself. It drives me to be better. I've learned that
the mastery of self-doubt is the key to success. It makes
me excel".

Have an inspiring week!
