People Power

July 18, 2005

This week saw 2 minutes silence in London to remember all
those who dies or were injured in the bombings a week
earlier.

Buses stopped, cars stopped, people came out of their work
building ... a sea of people stood silently together in an
act of unity.

Other major European cities also stopped to join the silent
message of the people. I have no idea how many people were
part of this but the news footage was overwhelming. The
images ... the sea of people ... was quite amazing.

I found this inspiring but I also found it sad. Why is it
that it takes such an awful event to bring together such a
common focus of the masses?
What could be achieved in the world if we were able to
unite on such a large scale with a focus of positive
change?

When I imagine that ... I imagine something truly inspiring
.......

Have an inspiring week!
