Dare Mighty Things
May 30, 2005
This week has been a week for me to put my money where my mouth is. As a coach I believe it is important that I live my life in the way I encourage my clients to. I have had a week which has stretched the boundaries of my experiences and comfort levels. I have created space for amazing opportunity or perhaps an embarrassing flop! The outcome of these actions is still unknown however regardless of whether I shine or flop I will be happy I went through this. I found the following quote which seems to mirror my current experiences: "Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat." Theodore Roosevelt 26th president of US (1858 - 1919)
Have an inspiring week!
