Positive Outlook

We have all heard about the power of positive thinking.
This week I was inspired by a woman who was putting this
into practice with great gusto.
I was sitting at my local bus stop waiting for a bus that
seemed to never come ... sitting next to me was an elderly
woman and someone I presumed to be her daughter. Suddenly
the daughter proclaimed "What on earth did you do that
for?!!" ..... it turns out the elderly lady had just spent
a lot of money on a BRAND NEW sofa.
"Well" said the elderly lady, " I am planning on needing a
sofa for at least the next 20 years so I though it best to
buy a new one that would last".
Talk about a positive outlook! I am pretty sure that if I
am waiting for a bus 20 years from now I will find that
elderly lady waiting there too.
This reminded that it is not only important to have
positive thoughts but also to take actions that that are
aligned with those thoughts.
