Tis the season to be jolly .....

With less than a week until Xmas are you jolly or frazzled?

Jolly? then good for you ... enjoy the Xmas cheer!
Frazzled? then join the queue or do something about it!

That's right ... the "tizzled tinsel" surrounding you at
Xmas is most likely created by you.
Don't believe me? Answer these few questions for me and
then see what you think:

a) My social calendar is booked almost every night leading
up for Xmas          - True/False
b) I had at least an hour less sleep every night last week
than normal          - True/False
c) It is 5 sleeps until Xmas and I have not started my Xmas
shopping       - True/False
d) I am having the whole family over lunch Xmas day but
won't allow anyone to help out    - True/False
e) I am trying to catch up with anyone I haven't seen this
year before Dec 25       - True/False
and so it goes ....

If you answered "True" to any of those questions stop for a
moment and consider how that is contributing to your
current stress level. Then consider for a moment if there
are other, less stressful choices, you could make right
now.
My fiancé and I caught ourselves a couple of weeks ago
becoming very frazzled as we tried to fit in catch-up with
all our friends before Xmas - there were just not enough
days left to fit it all in on top of our already very busy
schedules. The moment we decided to let go of the need to
see everyone our stress levels dropped. We will catch up
with all our friends over the holiday period but it won't
happen before December 31. Does it matter? .... of course
not.

If you feeling a little frazzled let something go. It will
all still be there to enjoy on January 1.
