Who would you call at 3am?

I have spent time recently reflecting on the friendships I
hold. I think this reflection has been largely influenced
by my upcoming wedding and the need to decide on an invite
list with my fiance.
We are surrounded by many wonderful people in our lives
whose company we enjoy. What defines a friendship that is
more than a person to spend fun time with?
Who would I ring at 3am if I needed help? Who would I ring
immediately with exciting news? Who would I be in contact
with 12 months from now if I packed up and moved to the
other side of the world?
These are the friends I commit to spending some more time
with. These are the friends I will not take for granted.
True friends are more valuable than gold - I commit to
telling them so.

As we approach Xmas and New Year take some extra time to
acknowledge those people who will answer the phone at 3am.
