Courage

November 15, 2004

Courage is a word that means different things to different
people. Courage displays itself it many different ways.
Courage can mean:
* entering a burning house to save a child
* picking up the phone to call someone who you had a
falling out with
* climbing a mountain when you are afraid of heights
* taking an action outside your comfort zone
and so on.

Many clients tell me they would like more courage - where
can they get it from?

Courage is not something you can buy at the local shop,
order by phone, or be given as a gift. Courage comes from
within. Courage comes from a commitment to stand tall even
when your knees are trembling in fear. Courage grows in the
heart.

"Courage is being scared to death - but saddling up anyway"
- JOHN WAYNE

Have an inspiring (and courageous) week!
