a2a Inspirations - 8 November 2004

"A sure cure for seasickness is to sit under a tree." Spike Milligan It never ceases to amaze me how many people spend time doing things they don't enjoy. We do things because we feel obligated, we do things out of habit, we do things because we are reluctant to make change - and so on. The problem with this is that is draining on our energy. We do not look forward to doing these things so we become unmotivated, when we get round to doing them it feels heavy and hard ..... where is the fun in that! The more time you spend doing things you don't enjoy the less you enjoy your day. The less you enjoy your day the more unmotivated you become to create change. The more unmotivated you become ......... WHOA - time to turn all that around! Start this week by replacing something you don't enjoy for something you do. It can be the smallest, simplest thing - like what you eat for breakfast or what exercise you choose to do. Next week select another thing and so on for a whole month. If something doesn't work for you - change it! Have an inspiring week! Linda
