Self Awareness > Where are you resistant?

Where in your life are you creating or experiencing resistance? What do you need to let go of to make things flow with ease instead?

I have a client, Jo, who is a Spiritual Mentor and wanted to explore ways to grow her business. As I brainstormed with her some of the things I heard were:

* I don't like networking, it's not my thing
* Why would I want products, my service is all I want to offer?
* I am a private person so I don't want to use any social media.
* I am not very good at writing so I can't have a newsletter

Regardless of the idea it was met with resistance ...

Guess what? the resistance that was showing up to new business ideas was also showing up in the personal aspects of her life. The resistance was stopping Jo creating a magnificent and thriving life.

I challenged Jo to let go of her objections for a few weeks and simply try out a few ideas. If she still didn't like them after that she had my permission to return to her original beliefs.
If you visit Jo's website http://www.joanneprior.com/ you will notice a page full of audio products and an option to subscribe to her newsletter. Jo has joined a regular networking group and loves it!

She embraced the challenge and has not looked back ... all of this in just a few months.

What lesson do I want you to take from this? Become aware of the things in life that make you say "I can't", "I don't", "I couldn't" ... and be willing to challenge the truth of those statements.
How could you explore the opposite?
What could you let go of to make your experience of life flow more smoothly?

Do something differently this week and see what happens ... remember, you can always return to your old habits if you choose to ...
