Do you ever feel overloaded or overwhelmed? I do!

How do I recognize that I am in overload? There are usually some common things that start showing up in my life ...

Here are my top 5:

  1. Being short tempered with friends and family
  2. Poor attention to detail - making silly errors
  3. Always feeling rushed and out of controlKeys - locking them inside the house; losing them; leaving them on top of my car overnight
  4. Being unable retain information
  5. What happens in your life when you get overloaded?

So what can you do when you know you are in overload?

Here are my top 5:

  1. Breathe Deeply and Slowly - conscious deep breathing helps calm the nervous system which in turn helps you think more clearly
  2. Ask for support
  3. Let go of anything 'non essential' until you feel more in control
  4. Pay close attention to your health and well-being - you won't get on top of things if you get sick
  5. Triple check you have your keys before closing the front door!

What is most effective in supporting you stop the overwhelm?
